My name is Cyrus and I love hitting the gym or going on a long bike ride, especially after sitting at my desk for hours at work. I’ve always been interested in being active and fit, and I began playing many sports in elementary school and I played baseball, basketball, and football until I went to college. In college, I set aside time from my studies to workout about five or more days a week. I enjoyed weight lifting with my friends, running on the treadmill, and going on the stationary bike. After graduating from college and entering the workforce, I was inspired to start this blog to help others learn ways that they can better themselves by becoming fit, healthy, and proud of their bodies. My goal is to help you learn what you can do to increase your fitness level through cardio activities, eating well, and lifting weights. Swimming, hiking, running, and cycling are some of my favorite ways to exercise and workout my cardiovascular system! However, I stress variety when it comes to doing exercise, so that you do not get bored with your workouts and you are able to workout different muscle groups throughout the week. Listen to your body and figure out what is best for you personally! The purpose of my blog is not to push you to compete in a marathon or a triathlon; instead, my website’s goal is to help you develop a healthy lifestyle and discover new exercises that you can incorporate into your daily life. My blog teaches you what you can do to tone up, get into phenomenal shape, and what healthy habits you should pick up-i.e. portion control when you are eating and eating protein daily.
