The act of beautifying ourselves truly is an art. We would all love to look younger, brighter and feel better and we can! With the technology that we have these days it is not hard nor to expensive to get the look we want with some simple modifications.
Laser hair removal for example, is a very popular cosmetic procedure. Shaving, tweezing and waxing are a never ending process and last weeks at most, depending on your body and the method. It can get pretty frustrating, I know! Laser hair removal shoots an extremely concentrated beam of light into the pour of the hair follicles. The pigment that is in the follicles then absorbs the light which permanently destroys the hair. Laser hair removal can be done on the face, legs, arms and underarms, bikini area as well as other areas. The laser will target the dark, thick hair so if you have that kind of hair, you are a prime candidate! The only downfall is that even with the best laser hair removal you may need anywhere from three to seven sessions in order to experience complete and permanent hair loss.
Microdermabrasion is another cosmetic procedure that is done using exfoliation. You can use either crystal or non crystal methods but either way, microdermabrasion is used to scrub away the top layer of your skin that has all the dead skin cells and possible sun damage and leaves behind the healthier and younger looking skin. The best thing about microdermasion is not only that it can reduce the appearance of age spots, wrinkles and line but it does all this while being completely pain free. It feels much like a regular, relaxing facial and it works immediately and the best part is that it does not leave your face looking scrubbed!
Botox is not quite as common but still just as popular when it comes to cosmetic procedures. It is simply a medicine that can be injected in to the facial muscles to temporarily remove any kinds of wrinkles or lines like crow’s feet and frown lines. Botox is not just for cosmetic needs, shots of the prescription medicine can be the answer to excessive sweating. Although there can be some unwanted side effects at times, the benefits of Botox definitely outweigh the negatives.
These are just a few of the ways we can help ourselves look younger without using drastic measures like plastic surgery! These methods are comparatively inexpensive, but aside from the laser hair removal, they do need to repeated periodically. Microdermabrasion is suggested every one or two months and Botox will need to be touched up every four to six months.
