One way or another, the nerve gets pinched because the hole it goes into gets smaller or more narrow. Lumbar Spinal Stenosis tends to happen more in the lower back. This can eventually lead to pain down the back of your legs and into your feet. Inflammation may also occur, but performing daily stretches for this can help. One stretch that can help is starting with stretching your knee to your chest. Make sure you do both legs in order to open up gaps on both sides of your spine. Hold this stretch for about 10-15 seconds. This should feel good. If it is causing pain, you should stop. If this flares up after the stretch, be sure to hold off on this. A foam roller is also a good option for Lumbar Spinal Stenosis. There are other stretches too. Make sure you watch the rest of this video for more information!
